A Specialty Food store and gift boutique with a vast assortment of small produced finds sourced locally, nationally and worldwide is looking for a passionate individual to join our team of food lovers.
Full time Sales Associate will be responsible, for Daily Sales, knowledge of the product and other duties typically required in running a retail store.
Personal abilities/skills required:
Passionate about food and cooking and able to share with customers.
Exceptional communication, organizational and follow-up skills.
Serve as a representative for the company and our products, help communicate our mission, and vision.
Ability to work with a team
Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time.
Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays and long hours during peak retail periods.
Computer skill and knowledge or a Point of Sale System/POS
Ability to lift and mobilize items weighing up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
Associates degree or equivalent experience preferred
2 to 4 years relevant retail experience.
Salary Based on experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
